Getting Started

 

I'm just starting my career or want to change my career, but i'm not sure which direction to go!

Whether you are just graduating from high school, transitioning from the military, or just looking for something different, you can probably find what you're looking for in shipbuilding and repair.

I need to learn new skills, where do i start?

If you do not have shipyard experience, many shipyards offer in-house training programs called apprenticeship programs. Some shipyards do not have formal apprenticeship programs but will train you on-the-job. However, if you are looking for a college education, your local community college is a great place to start.
